It keeps getting BETTER!

These past two days we have received really good news! 1. I got paid! 2. I know where I'll be teaching. 3. Jose was offered a contract.   

    I must say that I have an awesome and very generous employer. Two days ago I received my furniture allowance and salary advance. Let me just say that I have never received such a fat check! Woo hoo! Immediately after getting my money we went out and started shopping. This is what we've purchased so far: washer/dryer combo, stove, refrigerator, living room furniture, dining table, tv, and bed. Now it's time to buy the small stuff. I had forgotten how much stuff is actually required to furnish a home. On a side note I definitely do not miss cleaning! Before our furniture was delivered we decided to dust and wipe our kitchen. Ugh! After only a couple minutes of cleaning I told Jose that I wouldn't clean anymore. Luckily he took over :D.

       Last night I found out in what school I'll be teaching. After taking a closer look on Google Maps Jose has estimated that the school is approximately 20 miles away from our apartment. I hope the drive isn't too long. Shelley and I will be checking out our schools in a couple of days. We'll find out then how long the drive will be. Although I was a little sad that Shelley and I weren't placed in the same school, lol, I'm very excited to see the school, meet my coworkers, and meet my future kindergartners.         I've decided to save the best for last. Today Jose had an interview and was offered a job (drum roll please) to teach! I know that it isn't official since he hasn't signed a contract but we are so excited and thrilled. I really wasn't expecting him to find a job so soon. What I really wasn't expecting was for him to get hired as a teacher! This is such blessing, thank you God!
